For your information, there are a number of MLS services and Multiple Listing Service's located in all 50-states, with each state having several multiple listing service firms within their state. We are not an MLS or a multiple listing service ourselves but do referrals to Realtor® members of other Multiple Listing Service systems thruout the nation. We are an MLS referral and advertising service web site, who since the year 2002 has been referring home sellers to a state regulated and licensed real estate broker who is a member of the appropriate MLS. We have a business agreement with the Realtor® who has pre-agreed to work for a flat-fee by not charging the usual listing commission, which home-equity savings to you at closing is dramatic, with roughly 50% commission savings to you, overall.
Just to clarify a point about the small pre-paid cost involved. The flat-fee cost is a service charge and an order processing fee to compensate us in handling a Realtor® Referral to a participating Realtor®. As a licensed broker and member of the National Association of Realtors we are able to refer your listing as a Realtor® Referral to a Broker in your area with instructions to list your property on the Multiple Listing Service and listed in Realtor.com, who will list your home free (at no direct cost to you), thus saving you about one-half vs the high commissions involved in doing a traditional MLS listing with a licensed real estate broker yourself.
